Release: JSP Secures Three-year Extension for Albertsons Boise Open Presented by Kraft on the Nationwide Tour

New Deal for Portland Firm Means Tournament will Continue through 24th Year

Portland, Ore. — January 27, 2010 – Jeff Sanders, President and CEO of Jeff Sanders, Promotions, Inc. (JSP), announced today the Portland, Ore.-based company has reached an agreement with Albertsons parent company SUPERVALU and the PGA TOUR’s Nationwide Tour to extend the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft a minimum of an additional three years.  The new pact, which begins in 2011, will take the tournament through 2013, its 24th year.

The Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2009, is one of only four tournaments that have been a part of the Nationwide Tour since its inception in 1990 and the only tournament to have the same title sponsor throughout that duration.  The tournament is continually one of the most successful stops on the Tour and has generated more money for charity than any other Nationwide Tour event.  The 2009 event raised more than $1.2 million for Idaho non-profit organizations, setting a single event record for the Nationwide Tour and pushing the total amount raised for charities in the tournament’s 20-year history passed $10.7 million.

“We are honored to be able to continue working with SUPERVALU, Albertsons and the Nationwide Tour to produce an event that has enjoyed such phenomenal support from the Boise community,” said Sanders.  “We are also humbled to be a part of an event that has given so much back to Boise and the Treasure Valley, and we look forward to working with all of our tournament sponsors to raise even more money for charities in the years to come.”

The new agreement for JSP comes on the heels of the company’s announcement that it has secured a brand new Nationwide Tour event in Jacksonville, Fla.  JSP recently reached an agreement with Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., the PGA TOUR and the Nationwide Tour to produce the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open, which will debut October 18-24, 2010 at the famed TPC Sawgrass, home of the PGA TOUR and THE PLAYERS Championship.

“It is an exciting time at Jeff Sanders Promotions.  With the signing of these two agreements, we are thrilled to be able to grow even further our partnerships and long-standing relationships with the PGA TOUR and the Nationwide Tour,” Sanders said.  “From a charitable standpoint, the success of the Albertsons Boise Open provides a blueprint for what charities in Florida’s First Coast region can expect from the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open.”

Both the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft and the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open are utilizing the innovative and uniquely successful TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program that was created by Jeff Sanders Promotions.  As part of the program, participating non-profit organizations sell all tournament tickets and keep 100% of the proceeds for their causes.  In all, 20 events on the PGA TOUR, Nationwide Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour are consulting with JSP to implement the TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program in 2010.

The 21st annual Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft will take place September 13-19, 2010 at Hillcrest Country Club.  The inaugural Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open will take place October 18-24, 2010 at TPC Sawgrass.  Both tournaments will be broadcast internationally by GOLF CHANNEL.
